Braised Kienyeji Chicken

  • Serves: 4 people
  • Prep Time: 1 hour 30 minutes



  1. In a pan, heat the oil and add your onions, cook until translucent add your chopped garlic, ginger paste and your spices.
  2. Lower the heat and allow to become aromatic, add tomato paste and allow to cook lightly. Add the chicken and water.
  3. Cover and allow to cook for 1 1/2 hours and allow to braise until soft, correct seasoning and serve with rice.
