- Butter each slice of bread generously
- Slice them in half diagonally
- mix the sugar and cinnamon together
- whisk the eggs and milk together
- layer the buttered bread in a ceramic tin and pour sugar mixture over the bread and add the raisins.
- Pour egg milk mixture over and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes
- Remove after browned and cool for 15 minutes serve warm with vanilla ice cream or vanilla yogurt.
