Buttermilk and lemon pancakes

The thing about pancakes if you really want to know if it is ready to turn, the bubbles will form on the side that's facing up.



  1. Whisk egg yolk and the eggs with the sugar until fluffy, add the butter and whisk further.
  2. Incorporate the buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice and zest.
  3. In a large bowl sift your flour and baking soda,create a well in the center and add the whisked batter until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. In a hot pan using the oil hack add some oil, add 1/2 ladle full of the pancake batter and allow bubbles to form before turning.
  5. Serve immediately.
