Corn and Bacon Chowder

  • Serves: 3 people
  • Prep Time: 35 minutes



  1. In a large pan heat the butter, add 1 tablespoon of oil then panfry the onions, bacon, sweet corn and mixed dried herbs.
  2. Cook for 15 minutes until aromatic.
  3. Add garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes, add the flour and allow to toast for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the milk and the water and allow to thicken, add the cooking cream and heat through.
  5. Serve Hot.
