  1. In a small pan pot melt the butter and cook your onions until browned, add your poatatoes and cook slightly for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add your milk, with a 1/4 cup of water and allow the potatoes to cook through and the liquid evaporates, mash your potatoes and serve.
