Eggs In A Basket

  • Serves: 4 people
  • Prep Time: 25 minutes



  1. Using a serrated knife, cut 6 holes into the top of the loaf.
  2. Insert the knife about three-quarter way into the bread, then work the knife around in a circle.
  3. Take care not to cut through to the bottom of the loaf. Use your fingers to remove the cylinders of bread, making sure there’s plenty of room for the eggs.
  4. Crack an egg into each of the holes.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 deegrees for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot .
