Kids Ndengu Rice

  • Serves: 5 people
  • Prep Time: 30 minutes



  1. In a large pot heat 1/8 cup of oil and cook your onions until translucent, add your garlic, ginger and tomato paste and cook down until aromatic.
  2. Add your yellow lentil and cook for 7 minutes.
  3. Add your washed rice and cover with boiled water and cook it down until water has evaporated. Serve with some sukuma.
