There many things guaranteed in the kitchen, one of the them is that sometimes you will find that you have used too much oil, so much that it floats to the surface of the food, topping the soup/ water in what i find an incredible eye-sour. When you find yourself in this situation, fret not, for all you need is a serviette.
Fold the serviette once, to form a pyramid and grab it at the base.
Open your pot, allow the steam to die down for a while and then carefully dab the serviette on the stew allowing it to absorb the excess oil.
Repeat process until you are satisfied with the outcome. Happy cooking!
