Lamb Pilau

  • Serves: 4
  • Prep Time: 45 minutes



  1. In a large pot heat the 1/8 cup of oil and cook the sliced onion until translucent and cooked through, add your spice mix and allow to toast lightly on low heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger paste and allow to become aromatic. Add your lamb and curry powder and cook lightly until sealed, add your tomato paste.
  3. Add 3 cups of water and your washed rice, mix well, cover and allow to cook slowly until rice is cooked through.
  4. Serve hot with kachumabri.
