Lemon Cake

  1. Cream the butter and sugar in the bowl.
  2. Add the buttermilk, eggs, lemon juice and zest.
  3. In a separate bowl sift your flour,add the baking powder and baking soda then create a well in the middle.
  4. Mix evenly until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Line baking tray with butter and pour cake batter into pan and bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees.
  6. Remove and cool and serve .
