Onion and Bacon Hotdog

  • Serves: 2 People
  • Prep Time: 20 minutes



  1. In a small pan melt the tablespoon of butter and pan-fry the bacon until crispy, take out and set aside.
  2. Add your onions and pan-fry until slightly browned, add your tablespoon of sugar and allow to caramelize.
  3. Squeeze your lemon into the onions and allow liquid to evaporate slightly.
  4. Place your hot dog inside the bun.
  5. Coat evenly with onion 'jam' and bacon. Serve hot.
