- In a large pot toast the cardamom and cinnamon crushing the pods accordingly, for about 15 minutes.
- Add the water and allow to simmer down to 3 cups of water, add the tea leaves and simmer further for 20 minutes
- Add the milk and leave on low heat for another 15 minutes.
- Turn the heat up and allow the milk to rise, turn off heat, strain and serve hot
