Perfect Chips

The trick to making your homemade chips attain the gourmet standard lies in the number of deep fries you give the chips. The regular misconception in most households is that we deep fry our chips once on a low flame and the potatoes soak up all the oil and become soggy. What you’ll need to do is ,  after cutting your potatoes ensure they are drained and dry. Now as they wait, heat your oil on high for about 10-15 minutes and once heated put in your chips and fry for 10-12 minutes and then remove and set aside in a tissue, reheat your oil on high for about 15-18 min and place chips back in and wait for gold edges to form on the sides fry further for 7 minutes, drain oil and season accordingly.
